Job Title:              Senior Programmer Analyst
Department:         Corporate Information Systems
Location:              Birmingham, AL

SUMMARY: General purpose of the position is to provide technical and analytical capabilities related to the designing, developing, programming, and testing of computer software. This position will also provide leadership and training for those programmers with less experience.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 
 
Participate in discussions and present recommendations at planning meetings.
  • Evaluate complex user requests to determine feasibility, cost and time requirements, and current system compatibility.
  • Review with users the exact specifications requested and insure specifications are translated correctly into a program design.
  • Perform independent research to stay abreast of specific technical capabilities, and identify ways technology can be adapted for programming use
  • Recommend new and better ways for processing various sofware systems.
  • Provide technical assistance and training as needed.
  • Participate in discussions and present recommendations at planning meetings.
  • Monitor performance of programs after implementation.
  • Recommend ways to streamline operations to produce savings of time and money.
  • Insure that all programs are documented and tested prior to implementation.
  • Assist other programmers in debugging programs.
  • Recommend how system requirements can best be met.
 
QUALIFICATIONS/PROGRAMMING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. ·           Must also have a working knowledge of files and relational data structures as well as a working knowledge of Desktop (Windows) and Network (Unix and/or Windows NT) operating systems. Overall preference to 6+ years experience in programming/technology related work.

Job Title:   Account Representative/Account Manager - Client Services - Birmingham

SUMMARY: Individuals in this position will have extensive interaction with external/internal customers to coordinate printing of materials, work productions, problem resolution and special requests. Account Representatives will also participate in meetings and group activities; interface with internal and external customers to assess needs and provide options within a reasonable time frame for the clients' needs.
 
BASE QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent communication skills, prior experience in a customer service or financial services environment, ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, independent decision making skills and research skills and overall analytical abilities as measured through validated testing. Job Title:         Web Press Technician

Department:    NCF Web Press Department
 
SUMMARY: To Produce Quality Printed Materials by Maintaining or Repairing Machinery to Achieve Maximum Speed with Minimum Downtime.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Meet requirements below & work with others to improve operations.
  • Must be able to read and measure with a ruler to 1/64”.
  • Physically able to handle and package up to 300 boxes per shift, with weights of 25 to 75 lbs.
  • Be able to recognize and adjust color variation.
  • Must be able to see size variation.
  • Overtime as needed and required
  • Preventative maintenance duties
  • Trouble shooting and basic equipment repairs
  • Equipment modification and improvements
  • Regular and appropriate attendance is an essential function of this and all positions at NCP.
Must understand and be able to meet production standards of Web Pressman,  able to read and understand job tickets, find files and complete all paper work, enter spread sheet data in excel & Hagen data base, hang rolls, box stock, run web press, keep work area clean, bend and hang plates, wash-up ink units, set ink fountain, set perfs, slitters and lineholes to job specification, register all print and perf units without assistance, able to change folder, sheeter and inserts, perform all maintenance and preventive maintenance on press, complete minor / major repairs, trouble shoot machine problems in a timely manner, research & develop standard operating procedures (SOP) to improve efficiencies, develop plans that will improve state of equipment, will interface and work closely with Dept. Master Mechanic & management to help facilitate improvements, work well with others and provide leadership required for efficient production, responsible for quality inspection, assist with schedule & willing to perform task necessary to reduce downtime on all three web presses, must be pro-active & motivated individual. Responsible for being familiar with, and practicing company policies as set forth in the Employee Handbook, follow all safety requirements including clear communication to management and co-workers of any possible safety concerns as well as improvements. Regular attendance per guidelines is an essential function of this and all other positions.
