For a limited time, the U.S. Postal Service is offering business mailers an upfront 3% discount on First-Class Mail and Standard Mail letters and flats that include a mobile barcode. Mobile barcodes must be used for marketing and advertising purposes. For more information, click here.
NCP Storm Relief Efforts - May 3, 2011
Areas surrounding Birmingham, Alabama have been severely impacted by the devastating storms and tornadoes that recently passed through the Southern United States. While NCP’s operations did not suffer any damage, the same cannot be said for valued employees and countless others in our community. Our thoughts and prayers are with those who have sustained losses as a result of these storms, and we want to share what is being done to help not only our employees, but also our community.
1) NCP Employee Relief Program
NCP Solutions has established a relief program for employees who have had direct personal impact from the recent severe weather and tornado outbreak. The relief program will provide assistance through either financial aid or paid time off provisions while impacted employees put their personal matters back together.
2) Community Donation From The Company
NCP is donating $10,000 to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Initiative.
3) Employee Volunteering – Hands On Birmingham
NCP will provide to each employee in Birmingham one (1) paid day off to volunteer through HANDS ON BIRMINGHAM for a tornado relief project of their choice.

USPS Rate Increases for April 17
Postage rate increases filed by the U.S. Postal Service on January 13, 2011 satisfy requirements of the law and will take effect on April 17, 2011. On average, increases are just over 1.7%; however, the cost of a first class stamp remains unchanged at 44 cents. Click here to read more.
USPS Proposed Price Change for 2011 - July, 2010
The U.S. Postal Service recommended increasing the price of a first-class stamp and postcards by 2 cents to 46 cents and 30 cents respectively. The increase must be approved and will not go into effect until January 2, 2011. Other actions outlined include changes to delivery frequency, restructuring prepayments of retiree health benefits, creating a more flexible workforce and expanding access to products and services to places more convenient to customers. NCP successfully implements Intelligent Mail® Barcodes - December, 2009
We are excited to announce the successful implementation of Intelligent Mail® barcode technology at NCP Solutions. This next generation USPS® barcode technology is used to sort and track letters and flats and combines the capabilities of the POSTNET™ barcode and the PLANET Code® barcode into a single, unique barcode. NCP Adds Senior Vice President of Sales - November, 2009
Kris Nuss has joined NCP Solutions as Senior Vice President and Sales Manager. Reporting directly to Steve Greenwalt, President and CEO of NCP, Kris brings a wealth of experience to NCP Solutions and the markets we serve with his considerable knowledge of outsourced transaction processing solutions. Kris offers over 15 years of sales and sales management experience to NCP. He began his career with Sungard Data Systems and most recently held the role of Vice President of Sales and Marketing with Cash Cycle Solutions, a Charlotte, NC based provider of outsourced transaction processing solutions. Mr Greenwalt stated that "We are extremely pleased to have Kris join NCP.
