Remittance Tracking
Businesses that rely on the postal service to deliver payments have always faced a dilemma: loss of control over the process once the payments enter the mail stream. The mail delivery period can be considered as a "black box" -- is the check really in the mail? If payment on a bill hasn't been received, should a business incur the cost to send a late notice or begin more aggressive collection efforts, knowing that doing so risks alienating a valued customer if a payment is, in fact, delayed somewhere in the mail stream?
NCP Solutions' Payment Tracking service takes the mystery out of the mail stream. Working in partnership with the United States Postal Service (USPS), NCP Solutions produces statements whose remittance coupons bear postal bar codes that allow the USPS to track payments once they enter the mail stream.
